Please Note:
Over the 2008 Christmas period I uploaded this new web site. Basically I have merged the old Millichope School site with the old Apley Park School site. All the information that was available on the old Millichope site is still available on this site!
The Millichope information can be found in the following three sections:
- On the menu on the left hand side of the "Home" page there is a "Millichope School" header. Under that header is the bulk of the old Millichope school site.
- On the menu on the left hand side of the "Home" page there is an "Apley Park School" header. Under that header there is the "Head Boys" page which show the head boys board.
- Now all the student information is contained in a database which can be accessed from the "Site Guestbook". On the menu on the left hand side of the "Home" page there is a "Main Links" header. Under that header there is the "Site Guestbook" page. When the page is loaded you have a number of option you can use, but the easiest way to view the Millichope students is to select "Search for Millichope students" from the drop down list which is under "Select a search option" and then press "Search Database". When the button is pressed the page will re-load showing all the information.
Millichope School
Millichope Hall
Millichope Hall, the stately South Shropshire house at Munslow, was used by Shropshire County Council between 1948 and 1962 as a boys' secondary boarding (or 'camp') school, the school housed around 60 pupils and was known as Millichope school. In 1962 the school moved to Apley Hall which is located on the Apley Park estate near Bridgnorth and Millichope Hall returned to private ownership.
This site is dedicated to Millichope School and also covers the transfer from Millichope School to Apley Park School in 1962. If you wish to register your details with the web site fill in the "Contact Form", which can be found on the Navigation Bar at the side of the page. All the Head Boys of Millichope School are shown on the head boys board which is still displayed in Apley Hall.
Anyone who has made contact with the site who attended Millichope School will have their details recorded in the Guestbook section.
Below is the School song which we sang at the reunion Thanksgiving service it goes to the tune Jerusalem.
Thank you Bill Lewis.
